One of the great perks of being a Sephora VIB, Very Important Beauty insider for those of you not in the know, is that you get first look of their new lines. This time around, a pre-sale for Marc Jacobs‘ Beauty was in my email.
Needless to say, I was pretty stoked.
These are all the products currently available for Sephora VIBs to buy today to 11:59PM tomorrow. It’s not the whole collection, which officially debuts August 9th, but hey, it’s a start.
Magic Marc’er, $30. This comes in only one color thus far, but hopefully with the release of the full range, it’ll come in other colors too!
Lust for Lip Lacquer, $28. Currently comes in five colors. $28 is a little much for lip gloss, imo but let’s see what the reviews say about it.
Style Eye-con No. 7 eye shadow palette, $59. Two color schemes that we know of, the price seems a little exorbitant, once again, but keep in mind this is a mid-high end range brand. Let’s hope the quality speaks for the price.
Style Eye-con No.3 eye shadow palette, $42. I would personally recommend you skip this one and go for the larger palette, as it appears to be the better deal.
Lip Lock, $24. I know no one who is going to pay $24 for lip balm. Not even my English teacher would do that. There appears to be a lot of natural oils in play here for moisture, but ask yourself, would you REALLY pay that much for lip balm?
I gave in to the pre-sale and bought the magic marc-er liner, since it was only $6 more than my usual Tarte Gel liner. It (hopefully) comes in on Wednesday, so I can review it and tell y’all what I thought about it. Let’s hope when the full collection is released, there’ll be more affordable things available that have both great quality and value.
